Just do it!



With my 30th birthday just around the corner, and with my current booze-fast I had decided to do more sports. Instead of suffering alone, I opted for dragging Tom into the whole thing. (You know, competition and all that.) So now we go jogging/running 3 times a week and it's been great. Admitted, in the beginning you feel all whiney and complain about sore muscles, but it passes. Tom was like: "Now we will be all hot and buff when summer comes!"
...yeah, we'll see!

We bought ourselves some good running shoes, and although we are slower and look more dorky than some 50-60 year-olds we see, I believe that we are making progress!
Am loving those endorphines and that feeling of stupid glee that kicks in when you get back from a run.
Hopefully, if we keep it up we can be un-fat and non-mushy for swim season.
